Description

Spend three days photographing with Timothy Faust in Grand Teton National Park. The autumn is one of the most beautiful times to visit Grand Teton National Park. This workshop focuses on the fundamentals of good composition, lighting, and exposure. You should be comfortable with your camera’s settings, but all skill levels are welcome.

Activity Level and weather

Most of the sites we will visit are located only a short distance from parking areas and overlooks. One area may require a short 10 minute walk along uneven surfaces so bring appropriate footwear. Although daytime temperatures will be pleasant to cool, it will likely drop below freezing at night. Bring warm clothes for both morning and evening field sessions and dress in layers.

Film Processing

At this time, there is no lab near Jackson, WY that does same day E-6 processing. Because of this, we recommend that students bring digital equipment to this workshop. Of course you are free to use film, but we will not be able to review film images at the evening critiques.
