Ongoing Second Saturdays Artwalk
Together with several other galleries in Breckenridge, Altitude Gallery is participating in a gallery artwalk the second Saturday of every month in 2009. Stop by the second Saturday at any of the participating galleries between 4pm and 8pm for snacks, refreshments, art, and good company. <top>
2010 Black and White International Print Competition
Altitude Gallery will be accepting entries for the annual black and white print competition featuring nearly $2,000 in cash and prizes. Artist's Welcome Reception

Joe Patane
Altitude Gallery welcomes Colorado artist Joe Patane to The Loft ![]() Joe Patane, painter, neon, and glass artist, received his BFA from Alfred University and furthered his studies with stints at Pilchuck Glass School and Peland School of Craft. His achievments have recently been featured at the Corning Museum of Glass in New York and Museum of Neon Art in California. He continues to gain inspiration and information through traveling with a snowboard and driving around in his ‘64 Impala. Artist's Welcome Reception

Timothy Faust: Faces of the Himlaya
Altitude Gallery welcomes Colorado photographer, Timothy Faust, to the Loft. Timothy's new project, Faces of the Himalaya will be in the Gallery Loft during the month of Janiary. Faces is part of a documentary portrait project Timothy worked on during a 2009 trip to Tibet and Nepal. Proceeds will benefit Braille Without Borders and Doctors to the World. Tony DiZinno: Dreams of Kabul
Altitude Gallery welcomes international photographer, Tony DiZinno to The Loft this August. Tony's new show premieres at Altitude Gallery this September and features photos from his Dreams of Kabul project. Dreams of Kabul is a collection of images and stories from Afghanistan. The collection showcases the incredible beauty found within the oppression, poverty, and destruction. This show is a must see, and proceeds from sales benefit Mountain to Mountain's educational projects in Afghanistan. Mountain to Mountain is currently developing projects in Afghanistan to promote education and to eliminate the startling gender gap in literacy. These projects are focused primarily on the short and long-term needs of women and children. Artist's Welcome Reception

Altitude Gallery welcomes local photographer, Mandy Turner. Mandy is an emerging artist and a recent gradute of Summit High School. Her work combine exciting color and composition with underlying themes of social and political comentary. It is truly different than any other work Altitude Gallery has shown before and is not to be missed. This is Mandy's first solo exhibition, and her prints will be on display in The Loft at Altitude Gallery for one month only. Be sure to stop by this July and see them for yourself.

Kevin's work spans are large field of subjects from NASCAR, to rock climbing, to amazing landscape and architectual images. Altitude Gallery is proud to present "Glimpses of a Dream". A show by Summit County Photographer, Matt Lit. Matt's fine art photography is made using a toy Holga film camera. His images have won numerous international awards and have been featured in several publications. Holga is about the only photography I do outside my professional work (which is now all digital). As the body of work begins to grow, I am thrilled to see that "the Decisive Moment" is still the most important part of my Holga Toy Camera images.<top>
